The West of England Carbon Challenge supports organisations in the region to reduce their emissions in line with national targets. It challenges all businesses, public and third sector bodies to commit to making an annual cut in emissions for four years to reach a cumulative total of at least 10% by 2012/13. Members will receive advice, tools and practical support to measure, manage and reduce their CO2 emissions.
There are just two requirements: organisations need to commit to measuring, reducing and reporting their carbon emissions and they need to have one or more sites in the following areas: South Gloucestershire, Bristol, North Somerset, or Bath and North East Somerset.
It's free and easy to join and you can be taking advantage of the online tools and advice today!
Forum for the Future is leading the challenge in partnership with the Centre for Sustainable Energy, The Prince’s May Day Network convened by Business in the Community, and GWE Business West.
